Job Title: ICU Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Nurse Specialist to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing top-notch care to patients in need.

About the Job

This ICU Nurse Specialist position is a 13-week contract with a reputable healthcare facility in Hazard, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting and possess a strong background in critical care nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting
  • Manage life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment and interventions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
  • Meticulously document patient care and medication administration
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certification
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
