Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Clinical Nutrition team at Trinity Health, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate nutritional care to our diverse patient population.
Role Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments in accordance with established Nutrition Practice Guidelines.
- Creating and executing individualized nutritional care plans tailored to patient needs, while adhering to Clinical Nutrition Policies.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and making necessary adjustments.
- Identifying patients who require Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and providing appropriate education on dietary modifications.
- Assisting in the management of nutrition support, including Enteral Nutrition and Parenteral Nutrition, following best practices.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- Registration as a dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and a valid state licensure as a licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN).
- A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources to develop effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, essential for conveying complex clinical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
- Preferred certifications include Allergen Awareness training and Serv Safe Management.
