About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients who have experienced stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal function and quality of life.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop effective treatment plans
- Implement occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Washington
- Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
