We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adjunct Instructor to teach CPR and First Aid courses following the American Heart Association curriculum. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for sharing their knowledge with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach CPR Basic Life Support, Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid, and other CPR and First Aid courses
  • Deliver high-quality instruction and assessment to students
  • Meet timelines and complete tasks independently
  • Abide by American Heart Association instruction and program protocol
  • Participate in instructor training and professional development activities
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community

Requirements:

  • Current American Heart Association CPR BLS provider certification
  • Excellent public speaking skills and ability to teach independently
  • Responsibility, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to purchase own instructor training materials

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous teaching experience in a classroom or professional setting
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification
  • AA degree or above in a healthcare or allied health field
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds and perspectives
