Insight Global is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Piping Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCAD, as well as designing specs of piping systems and ensuring they are NAVSEA compliant in Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design piping diagrams and designs in 3D and 2D AutoCAD
  • Design specs of piping systems and ensure they are NAVSEA compliant in Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCAD
  • Collaborate with Senior 3D Checker to ensure drawings meet Navy Specs and are approved for the build process

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with piping design on ships
  • ShipConstructor or Navis software experience
  • Must be proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Excel
  • Associate degree in an Engineering concentration
