Senior Custodial Supervisor:
Education/Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is essential. A minimum of three years of experience in the custodial sector is required, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general custodial duties, including but not limited to: scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Supervise, manage, and train all custodial staff.
- Utilize cleaning agents in accordance with established safety protocols.
- Follow safety guidelines for cleaning, lifting, moving, and operating equipment.
- Maintain a documented custodial and housekeeping schedule.
- Perform general custodial and preventative maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure safety during adverse weather conditions, including snow removal and providing slip protection on wet surfaces.
- Lead the custodial team during weekend shifts.

The Facilities Department is currently seeking applications for a Full-time Custodian position.

FacilitiesEducation/Experience:
A high school diploma is required, and prior custodial experience is preferred. Candidates should possess basic computer skills, particularly in Word and Outlook applications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and climb ladders. Must be capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, standing or sitting for extended periods, walking, talking, and hearing. Close visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as viewing computer screens and scanning.
Essential Duties:
* Disinfect classroom furniture, including chairs, desks, and whiteboards, to maintain a healthy learning environment.
* Clean and sanitize restrooms following established procedures.
* Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum hallways, empty and clean ashtrays and cigarette receptacles, clean windows, and wipe down walls.
- During inclement weather, the candidate must be prepared to report to the facility to clear walkways of snow and manage cleanup during snowstorms.
Position Category:
Full-Time
Hours per Week: 37.5; evening and weekend coverage will be necessary.
