**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic team in Santa Rosa, CA. In this role, you will perform diagnostic sonographic procedures as ordered by a staff physician, with minimal supervision from the Supervisor of Imaging Services. Your expertise will be crucial in providing high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging.
* Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
* Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and reports.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and evaluate diagnostic results.
* Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure it is operating efficiently.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in sonographic techniques and technology.
* Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Education: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Medical Sonography program.
* Certification: National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) upon hire.
* Basic Life Support (BLS): National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience: At least 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Sonographer in an acute care setting.
* Skills: Proficiency in using advanced ultrasound equipment and software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
