Ultrasound Technologist Multi Reg PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist Multi Reg PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. As a multi-registered technologist, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound and non-invasive vascular procedures with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality ultrasound services, including OB/GYN, Abdominal, Breast, Small parts, Neurological, and limited vascular exams.
  • Photograph images of organs shown on display module or remove strip printout from equipment to obtain permanent record of internal examination.
  • Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Ultrasound department.
  • Travel to other satellite facilities as needed for staffing requirements.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctioning devices.
  • Transport patients as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • RDMS or ARRT(S) registered or Registry Eligible (must obtain initial registry within six months of hire date).
  • RDMS (AB) certification within six months of hire date.
  • RDMS (RVT), CCI (RVS) or ARRT (VS) acceptable for vascular certification.
  • RDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) acceptable for echocardiography specialties.
  • OB/GYN; Abdominal and Small parts experience required.
  • Neurological and limited vascular experience preferred.
