Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Brand Activation Team as a Brand Ambassador. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in representing Hawaiian Telcom at various events and community outreach initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with current and potential customers, educate them about our products and services, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute merchandise distribution and event handouts to effectively promote the Hawaiian Telcom brand
  • Provide marketing support to the Retail and Field Sales teams as needed, ensuring seamless campaign execution within and outside of retail stores
  • Assist in the development and implementation of core product marketing and promotion strategies for events within retail stores and across the communities we serve
  • Support the creation and execution of retail and community/event signage and sales support initiatives
  • Collect customer or prospect contact information, leads, contest entries, and other relevant data to enhance measurement and ROI tracking for brand activation activities
  • Assist with marketing execution for mobile stores and vehicles, ensuring a cohesive brand experience
  • Document event activation through photography and share relevant content with the Brand Activation and Social Media teams for social media posts
  • Contribute to grassroots marketing efforts, including door hangers, yard signs, mobile events, and other initiatives to activate the Hawaiian Telcom brand
  • Support brand activation efforts for company-sponsored events and facility sponsorships, such as sporting events, community events, and trade shows
  • Assist with the fulfillment and distribution of branded merchandise for sales and marketing purposes, including apparel, customer giveaways, and promotional items
  • Collaborate on experiential marketing initiatives, such as facilitating Virtual Reality experiences, product demos, and interactive displays
  • Manage the pickup, transportation, and return of supplies and equipment for marketing events and community outreach initiatives
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for parking, mileage, and other relevant expenses

Requirements

  • No prior marketing experience is required, but a background or interest in marketing, sales, or service is a plus

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Special Skills

  • Proficient in basic computer skills and email communication
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • High level of integrity, maturity, and professionalism
  • Effective multitasking and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of Hawaiian Telcom products and services
  • Collaborative and flexible team player

Additional Requirements

  • This role requires travel and the ability to provide own transportation
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required, and may involve driving company vehicles

Hourly Rate: $20.00
