Program Overview

The Future Builders Internship is a 10-week paid program designed for rising college seniors, providing a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects and challenges. Participants will work alongside seasoned professionals, developing essential skills and contributing to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct business needs assessments and provide practical solutions to stakeholders, clients, and customers.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users.
  • Research business opportunities and changes to meet goals within budget.
  • Develop project and system requirement specifications.
  • Participate in new technology upgrades and testing of system enhancements.
  • Assist in developing process maps and workflow diagrams.

Requirements

  • Graduating from a 4-year college or university between December 2025 and May 2026.
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Knowledge of project planning and project management.
  • Knowledge of compiling and analyzing metrics to identify trends and efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of connecting data or software through APIs.
  • Ability to work within Scrum & Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hunger to learn in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and self-directed and innovative mindset.
  • Interest in solving complex problems and investing time and energy to overcome roadblocks and learn from mistakes.

Physical and Office Requirements

This is a primarily sedentary office position requiring the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in a confined office environment. Requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods, completing paperwork, and receiving/returning phone messages. Standing is required for filing and copying.
