Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Banner Health, specializing in Oncology Plastics. As an Oncology Plastics Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and education in a dynamic and growing community.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work closely with our experienced team of providers, reviewing care plans, providing patient education, and assisting with clinic procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards.
  • Education and Support: Provide comprehensive patient education and support to ensure informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
  • Clinical Procedures: Assist with in-clinic procedures under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in oncology plastics or a related field.
  • Certifications: BLS certification required; additional certifications or continuing education may be necessary based on area of practice.
