We are seeking a skilled Generator Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Power Plus. As a Generator Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing generators ranging from 5 kw to 4000kw while providing best-in-class service to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test 5kw – 4000kw generator systems
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Correctly fill out paperwork and documentation
  • Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Requirements:

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators
  • Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric, or military experience a plus
  • Willingness to learn and use new technologies
  • Available to work various shifts, weekend, holidays, and on-call pager rotations with occasional out-of-town travel/overnight stays
  • Able to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations

Total Estimated Compensation:

$101,130.50 per year
