The University of Vermont Medical Center, in partnership with The Larner College of Medicine, is actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to enhance our esteemed faculty. This role, available at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, presents a unique opportunity to engage with a department recognized for its commitment to clinical excellence, education, and research within the University of Vermont Health Network.
Position Overview:
- Deliver exceptional emergency medical services across multiple hospital locations within our network, including the University of Vermont Medical Center, an ACS verified Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Instruct and mentor medical students from The Larner College of Medicine, Emergency Medicine residents, and other healthcare learners.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of innovative educational initiatives and clinical research projects.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
- Eligibility for medical licensure in New York and Vermont.
- A demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching, clinical practice, and research in the field of academic emergency medicine.
- Willingness to consider full-time or part-time employment options.
