Job Summary

The Legal Support Specialist collaborates closely with attorneys, managing cases during the Pre-Litigation phase while ensuring effective communication with clients, medical providers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Engage daily with clients, insurance representatives, and healthcare providers through various communication channels.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify all potential defendants and insurance coverage.
  • Request and diligently follow up on the collection of essential documents, including police reports, 911 recordings, insurance policies, medical records, and bills.
  • Review, upload, and manage daily correspondence received via email, fax, or our digital software.
  • Organize and maintain the attorney's calendar efficiently.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside the attorney.
  • Ensure cases are updated with all pertinent information, including treatment details, records, bills, insurance coverages, and liens.
  • Prepare demand letters and closing statements as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bi-lingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of office experience is required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a substantial case load.
