Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Promote and sell new and used agricultural equipment, as well as rental solutions, to meet customer needs.
  • Deliver and demonstrate equipment features and benefits, communicating their value to customers in the field or remotely.
  • Inspect and appraise potential equipment trade-ins, ensuring accurate valuations.
  • Provide world-class customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Promote Butler's product support offerings, including parts and service, to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Build customer loyalty by following up on service or parts transactions, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Participate in training and obtain required vendor certifications to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Meet with colleagues and management to share knowledge, overcome obstacles, and grow professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer and equipment population information in our systems, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Complete and process all documentation and paperwork, adhering to company standards.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of local producer practices and the agricultural industry, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Previous sales experience and knowledge of agricultural equipment, preferably with AGCO and related/competitive product lines.
  • Ability to understand and communicate basic financing options with customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Excellent self-motivation, personal accountability, and strong organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed, with a clean driving record and a valid CDL (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
