- As this role requires independent work, a clean driving record is essential, and approval from Arcadia's insurance provider is mandatory.
- The ideal candidate will be self-driven, dependable, and punctual.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending labels, mixing chemicals, calibrating equipment, and managing emergencies is required.
- Knowledge of Pest Control Commission regulations regarding vehicles, equipment, and chemical storage is necessary.
- Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks is expected.
- Skills in maneuvering hoses to prevent tangling or damage to existing landscapes are important.
- Interaction with clients and the public necessitates a professional appearance and effective communication abilities.
- Understanding of landscape diseases and pests, along with strategies for their management, is crucial.
- Maintaining accurate records is a requirement of the position.
- The Spray Technician will estimate labor and materials for projects and procure necessary supplies.
- Responsibilities include the mixing, distribution, and storage of chemicals, along with maintaining corresponding documentation.
- This role is classified as Safety Sensitive, involving driving, operating power tools, or handling equipment that poses injury risks.
