We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our team at Whiskey Joe's. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing high-quality food for our guests, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients and cooking elements for meal preparation during a shift.
  • Store items in the refrigerator, cover items left in the open air, and prepare special food elements ahead of time.
  • Work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift.
  • Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station.
Requirements:
  • High school or 1 year similar experience preferred.
  • Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively engage others verbally.
  • Ability to listen and speak in basic English in order to maintain effective communications in the performance of essential job functions.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent lifting, moving and carrying of kitchen ware, cleaning equipment, food boxes, garbage etc. weighing up to 70 pounds in the BOH.
