Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at The Arora Group. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a detention healthcare setting.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating complex clinical operations, providing direct patient care, and performing various tasks related to patient intake, treatment, and care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct patient care, including intake screening, physical exams, and treatment of acute problems.
  • Coordinates clinical operations, including medication administration, laboratory specimen collection, and vital sign checks.
  • Supervises licensed and unlicensed personnel, as assigned.
  • Responds to medical emergencies and renders emergency care to stabilize patients and prevent deterioration.
  • Participates in involuntary, court-ordered care, as required.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program for Registered Nurses.
  • Minimum one year of professional experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital, medical office, or residential setting.
  • Experience in a detention/correctional healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the duty station is located.
  • Maintains BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association.
