About the RoleWe're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Business Development Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for cultivating referral relationships with external partners and existing clients, creating and managing accounts, leads, and opportunities in our CRM system (Salesforce), and providing accurate sales activity and forecasts.
You'll collaborate closely with key referral sources, including accountants, banks, and existing Paychex clients, to educate them on our services and provide consultative solutions to increase market share and drive revenue. Your goal will be to schedule and conduct meetings with existing and new channel accounts through targeted email campaigns, corporate marketing programs, and telephone calls, as directed by Sales Management.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to leverage our Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers' needs and present our solution to key stakeholders and decision-makers in accordance with their preference for in-person or virtual interaction. You'll also be responsible for developing your sales skills and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our product offering to optimize sales results and remain up-to-date with new product initiatives, services, industry trends, and other relevant information of interest to customers.
Additionally, you'll collect, complete, and submit all necessary paperwork for new sales within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines and address and escalate client concerns to our Service Partners, following up as necessary to ensure satisfactory resolution.
