Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IRB Administrator to join our Research Compliance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of human subjects in research, while also providing education and guidance to IRB members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage research compliance in accordance with Federal regulations and institutional policies.
  • Provide education and guidance to IRB members to ensure they have the necessary tools to protect human subjects.
  • Evaluate clinical studies and associated documents to ensure patient rights and safety are addressed.
  • Assess the level of risk associated with human research protocols and advise the IRB.
  • Review submissions from researchers to ensure compliance with regulations and institutional policies.
  • Act as a liaison between researchers and the IRB to ensure proper documentation and protocol compliance.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and institutional policies.
  • Prepare and analyze data to provide descriptive statistics for management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science or medical field.
  • Seven years of experience in research management, including at least five years of experience in human subjects research.
  • Previous IRB office leadership experience is preferred.
