Key Responsibilities

  • Sets up bars with all necessary beverages, mixers, garnishes, polished glassware, napkins, and straws.
  • Transports and handles all banquet equipment properly and with care.
  • Checks IDs to ensure legal drinking age and monitors guest consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepares cocktails, pours, and mixes drinks quickly and accurately in a customer service-oriented manner.
  • Breaks down bars of supplies, cleans up bar areas, and returns equipment to proper storage.
  • Contributes to the overall effectiveness of team management by addressing problems, issues, and opportunities.
  • Acts as a team player and provides expertise within the team and with other teams as appropriate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Michigan driver's license.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to make good judgment calls.

Physical Demands

This is a physical position that requires frequent standing and walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. May be exposed to adverse conditions and weather extremes.
