BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Order Entry Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Enter new and refill medication orders into our system with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- File documentation as required by pharmacy regulations, maintaining compliance and accuracy.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Fill drug kits under direct supervision, applying accuracy and aseptic technique.
- Match preprinted labels and delivery manifests with source documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Locate medication from the pharmacy supply area, count out, and package in the correct system, including blister packs and vials.
- Pre-package medications according to standard procedures, maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Assist in other phases of computer operations, including billing procedures.
- Clean all equipment and work areas, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Check equipment for calibration and safety, ensuring optimal performance.
- Rotate stock as required, maintaining inventory levels and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician, preferred.
- Previous pharmacy experience required.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
