Weekend Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in a part-time capacity, covering weekends in a skilled nursing facility in Puyallup, Washington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform primary care weekend rounding in a post-acute setting for short-term and long-term patients
  • Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement a plan of care
  • Order and interpret lab results, prescribe and monitor medications, and consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions, build relationships with patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery, and promote healthy lifestyle changes
Requirements
  • New grads encouraged to apply
  • Primary care and post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
  • Active and unrestricted Washington NP or PA license required
  • Active and unrestricted Washington DEA with prescriptive authority required
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that provides uncapped earning potential with bonuses paid biweekly. Our compensation is estimated to be in the range of $60,000 to $86,000 annually, with no cap on productivity income potential. This part-time role is not benefit eligible.
