Affton Terminal Services is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Bulk Pneumatic Tank Driver to join their team in Kansas City, KS.

We offer competitive pay, a $2500 sign-on bonus, home every night, and a comprehensive benefits package including health benefits, paid vacation and holidays, and a 401k retirement plan with an aggressive company match.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a CDL Class A truck with pneumatic tanks to transport bulk materials
  • Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment / hoses and follow all safety procedures
  • Plan routes and ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to designated locations
  • Complete all required paperwork and logbooks accurately and promptly
  • Maintain truck cleanliness and perform regular inspections to ensure proper functioning
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and drive defensively at all times
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on truck and report any mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
  • Prior experience operating pneumatic tanks is preferred but not necessary (training provided)
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy materials as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
