Job Title: Travel Physical Therapy Assistant

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel position in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) to implement selected components of patient treatment, obtain data related to the intervention provided, and make modifications to either progress the patient as directed by the Physical Therapist (PT) or to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement selected components of patient treatment under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Obtain data related to the intervention provided and make modifications as necessary
  • Work with patients to achieve their physical therapy goals
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists (PTs) and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and pass the National Certification Exam
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred
  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) State licensure or be eligible for state licensure
  • Current CPR card or certificate
