Job Summary

STS Technical Services is seeking a highly qualified Senior Manager, Materials Management to join our team in a critical role that ensures the efficient fulfillment of material and service needs for aircraft fleets, drives cost savings, and improves overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management System (SMS) Coordination: Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Safety Management System to ensure safety and promote a culture of safety.
  • Material Services Leadership: Lead all Material Services activities for assigned Airbus fleets and MRO service providers, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
  • Cost Management: Maintain visibility of total Material Services costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and coordinate improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Performance Metrics Development: Establish and implement Key Performance Metrics to measure performance, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training plans for Material Services staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage MRO vendors to ensure they meet the company's standards and requirements.
  • Inventory Control: Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes to ensure accurate tracking and management of materials and supplies.
  • Team Leadership: Train, develop, and manage staff to ensure consistent Supply Chain policies and procedures are developed and deployed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Aerospace Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent Aviation supply chain experience and 5 years of multi-functional team leadership experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: MRO contract development and administration experience, Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
