- Read and follow directions and labels on chemicals and materials.
- Assist with all phases of plumbing, including pipe laying, leaky faucets, stopped-up commodes, water line breaks, and other related tasks.
- Work in confined spaces and climb ladders to perform duties as assigned.
- Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to Campbell University policies and procedures, including Title IX and Information Security.
- 3 years of commercial or residential plumbing experience desired.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid NC Driver's license required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups through oral and written channels.
- Knowledge of power tools, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Comprehensive computer skills, with ability to learn new technology.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Demonstrate tact, positive attitude, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with university officials and the public.
- Work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- Exercise good judgment in complex situations.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to work in a changing environment.
- Ability to work past regular working hours and occasional weekends.
