**Job Overview**

The Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps, Falls Church, VA is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join their team.

As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical imaging services to patients at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, NC.

This is an employed civilian position that offers job security, a competitive salary of $**$325,000 per year**, bonuses, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, up to 26 days paid vacation, 11 days paid Federal Holidays, a sick leave benefit, CME opportunities, and a first-class health and retirement benefit package.

About the Position

You will work under the limited supervision of the Chief, Department of Radiology, and Chief, Diagnostic Radiology Service, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC). You will perform assigned work with considerable independence in accordance with Army and hospital regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides expert diagnostic radiology services, including MRI, CT, Mammography, MRA, and Ultrasound.
  • Performs consultations with requesting physicians and other staff radiologists as required.
  • Provides technical direction for technicians and ancillary personnel in the Department of Radiology.
  • Achieves and maintains continuing medical education requirements for state licensure.

Required Qualifications

An MD or DO degree and current license to practice medicine in the US are required. Board certification is also required.
