Job Summary

This role involves performing basic radiologic exams and venipuncture procedures while utilizing radiation safety practices to provide high-quality examinations.

  • Perform radiologic exams as ordered by physicians.
  • Conduct routine exams according to department standard operating procedures.
  • Verify requisitions for physician notes and special instructions.
  • Consult with radiologists or physicians as necessary.
  • Select proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.
  • Operate equipment as directed by exam demands.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Obtain specimens and perform diagnostic laboratory tests as ordered by physicians.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Current registry with ARRT or ability to obtain registry within 6 months of hire date.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
