Transport Specialist

R&R LLC is seeking a dedicated Driver to join our operations. This role does not require a Class B or Class C driver's license. The primary responsibility involves operating a large pickup truck or van, with no overnight or long-distance travel required. The service area is typically within a one-and-a-half-hour drive from our base.

Our team consists of approximately 12 members at the main location, supported by an additional team in another area. With nearly 50 years in the industry, we pride ourselves on stability and a robust customer base, ensuring consistent work throughout the year.

This is a full-time position, though part-time arrangements may be considered. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Daily tasks will involve making 2-3 trips to various client sites for equipment pickups and deliveries, primarily focusing on pumps and motors.

Compensation for this role ranges from $16 to $22 per hour, with options for W2 employment with benefits or 1099 arrangements, based on your preference. W2 employees are eligible for overtime after 40 hours per week and double time after 60 hours.

Uniforms and laundering services are provided, along with necessary safety gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and hard hats.

The ideal candidate should possess basic mechanical and technical skills, as the role may involve assisting technicians for 5-20 hours per week. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for the disassembly and reassembly of equipment.

Experience in mechanical, construction, welding, or other skilled trades is advantageous. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check. Major driving violations within the last seven years may disqualify applicants.
