Transport Specialist

R&R LLC is seeking a dedicated Driver to join our operations. This role does not require a Class B or Class C driver's license, as you will primarily operate a large pickup truck or van.

The driving radius is limited to approximately an hour and a half from our base, ensuring no overnight or long-distance travel is necessary.

As part of our team, you will be working in a stable environment with a long-standing customer base. This position offers consistent work throughout the year, free from seasonal fluctuations.

This is a full-time position, although part-time arrangements can be discussed. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Daily responsibilities typically include making 2-3 trips to various client locations for equipment pickups and deliveries, primarily involving pumps and motors.

Compensation for this role ranges from $16 to $22 per hour, with flexibility in payment structure as either a W2 employee with benefits or a 1099 contractor. W2 employees are eligible for overtime after 40 hours per week and double time after 60 hours.

Uniforms and laundering services are provided, along with necessary safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and hard hats.

The ideal candidate will possess basic mechanical and technical skills, enabling them to assist technicians for 5-20 hours per week. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for disassembling and reassembling equipment.

Experience in mechanical, construction, welding, or other skilled trades is highly advantageous.

All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check. Those with significant driving violations in the past seven years may not qualify for this position.
