Budgetary Financial Manager Job Description

LMI Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Budgetary Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and execution support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and advise leadership on financial management, including execution, performance, and forecasting.
  • Track expenditures, initiate MIPRs, and forecast executions, as well as perform associated financial management duties.
  • Support the movement of funding, funds execution, and financial reporting, as directed by the COR or TPOC.
  • Manage work breakdown structures, forecasting costs, tracking costs, and financial reporting, with a focus on Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) and program control.
  • Prepare and conduct quarterly program management reviews and support other management briefings as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Possess relevant experience in RDT&E activities in support of both DoD and IC programs.
  • Extensive experience with the military, understanding rank, seniority, and protocol to communicate with senior leadership in both the DoD and IC communities.
  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification.
  • Possess DoD Level 3 Financial Manager certifications.
  • Relevant military experience and 5 years prior experience working for SAF/FM.
  • Experience developing cost profiles and estimates for new projects, assessing and controlling on-going projects, and minimum 20+ years' experience complying with all Federal laws and regulations.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
