About the Job Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with MD Care Hospice, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessing and providing patient education, participating in the coordination of hospice services, and using equipment and supplies effectively. You will also be expected to evaluate patients' responses to treatments/medications, provide appropriate pain/symptom management, and participate in personal, professional growth and development opportunities.

About the Job Requirements
To be successful in this position, you must possess good verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills. A strong understanding of the philosophy of hospice care and the needs of terminally ill patients is also essential. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to participate in personal, professional growth and development opportunities.

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $30-$40 per hour, with flexible scheduling options available. As a per diem employee, you will have the opportunity to choose your own schedule and work at times that fit your needs. You will also receive benefits such as continuing education credits and medical specialties training.
