Position Overview:

Martin Marietta is in search of a qualified Water Truck and Haul Truck Operator. This role is a full-time, temporary position that operates primarily during the first shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Protocols:
    • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and complete necessary forms before and after shifts.
    • Adhere to all safety regulations set forth by federal, state, and company guidelines.
    • Report any unsafe conditions promptly.
    • Immediately report any accidents or incidents.
  • Operational Duties:
    • Utilize a 4000-gallon Water Truck to effectively manage dust control.
    • Operate a haul truck to transport rock products as directed.
    • Maximize productivity while minimizing equipment wear and downtime.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred 2 years of prior experience operating haul trucks.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience with a Water Truck equipped with Air Brakes.
  • Familiarity with Sweeper equipment operation is advantageous.
  • Experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
  • Class B License is preferred.
  • MSHA training is a plus.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position is $46.86, with terms of employment and benefits aligned with the collective bargaining agreement.
