Job Title: Engineering Geologist

Foundation Technologies, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of deep foundation construction products. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist to join our team and provide technical support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform take-offs and quotes for deep foundation projects
  • Provide engineering support to our East coast customer base, with some West coast support
  • Attend and present at conferences and industry gatherings as a subject matter expert on helical piles
  • Work with DOT's and other owners to promote the use of FTI's products within their areas of responsibility
  • Participate in technical committees to support FTI's Helical team
  • Identify value engineering opportunities for helical piles in the East and proactively prospect jobs on Construct Connect
Primary Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Prepare take-offs and quotes for deep foundation projects
  • Answer technical and engineering questions from customers and colleagues
  • Provide subject matter expertise on helical piles and deep foundation construction
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering, or equivalent
  • EIT/PE or GIT/PG certification preferred but not required
  • 5 years of experience in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
