Position Overview:
The Service Technician will be responsible for executing equipment repairs, maintaining detailed records of work performed, ensuring a tidy workspace, and continuously improving technical expertise on various machinery.
Core Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair machinery following technical guidelines.
  2. Record machine details and repair activities on service orders.
  3. Keep the work area organized and maintain tools and equipment.
  4. Stay updated on all serviced machinery.
  5. Safely operate dealership equipment.
  6. Support fellow technicians as necessary.
  7. Foster positive relationships with colleagues, management, and suppliers.
  8. Comply with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
  9. Engage in company communication initiatives and training programs.
  10. Ensure consistent and punctual attendance.
Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Preferred experience of three or more years as a service technician
  • Specialized tooling for trade
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Organizational proficiency
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and computer systems
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, with hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Work Environment:
Work will take place in a service shop setting, with exposure to various weather conditions and mechanical components.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves standing, bending, lifting, carrying, walking, and fine motor skills.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal travel is anticipated.
