Position Overview

In the role of an Optometrist, you will be instrumental in enhancing the vision and overall ocular health of patients, thereby contributing to their improved quality of life. You will take the lead in managing ocular conditions and offering comprehensive eye care services to residents in senior living facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a combination of intermediate and thorough eye examinations for residents in senior living environments.
  • Identify and assist in the management of ocular diseases.
  • Prescribe corrective eyewear or medications as necessary.
  • Deliver pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients.
  • Encourage healthy vision through patient education and counseling.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree with an active state license.
  • Proficient communication skills to engage with a diverse range of patient personalities.
  • Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic capabilities.
