Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NCCU) team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
Responsibilities- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide communication, confidence, and professionalism.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive image of nursing and delivering quality nursing care services.
- Participate in unit-based council and professional practice council activities, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is a 280-bed hospital that provides a wide range of services, including emergency care, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and acute rehab services. We are accredited by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center, and our stroke rehabilitation program has received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Disease-Specific Care Certification of Stroke Rehabilitation.
