Production Manager

Imerys is seeking a dedicated Production Manager to lead the operational functions of our mining and beneficiation production team. The successful candidate will prioritize a secure and constructive workplace, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards while fostering ongoing enhancements in product quality and operational efficiency to achieve production objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold a safe working environment in compliance with established regulations.
  • Oversee Quality Control measures for mica production.
  • Facilitate training and guidance for Operators.
  • Perform essential data entry and generate reports.
  • Supervise the activities of Operators, Maintainers, and Mine personnel.
  • Promptly address any safety issues that arise.
  • Ensure consistent production rates are achieved.
  • Document and report on shift performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate productivity challenges.
  • Engage in workplace inspections and safety discussions.
  • Monitor and analyze work crew performance trends.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
