Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Western Star Northwest. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex diesel engine issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results to identify engine problems
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal engine performance
• Assist with and/or complete engine overhauls as well as other repairs identified during the diagnostic process
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications

Requirements:

• Heavy equipment dealership experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
