Job Summary

Falls Fabricating, Inc. is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling complex equipment and parts, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and manufacture a variety of products, including tanks, kit part assemblies, and packaged parts.
  • Operate basic hand tools and equipment, such as tape measures and calipers.
  • Work as assigned by management on various assemblies, either alone or as a helper with another individual.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and turn in Kan Ban cards to purchasing when necessary.
  • Layout work areas and maintain 5S conditions to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in quality audits and develop quality plans to ensure compliance with ISO-9001:2015 standards.
  • Carry out tasks in a safe manner, adhering to known and published safety policies.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis and 35 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Constant standing and walking required, with regular bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
Working Conditions

The Assembly Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ideal candidate will be able to work fluently as a team with others and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Authority and Accountability
  • Effect any changes necessary to control and maintain the Falls Fabricating, Inc. Quality System.
  • Initiate corrective and preventive actions as necessary to support ISO-9001:2015 registration/certification.
  • Stop production if any process adversely affects product quality.
