Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate in Farmingdale, NY. The Warehouse Associate will be tasked with managing material orders, organizing job boxes, ensuring adequate stock levels, and performing additional responsibilities as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve tools and hardware for sheet metal workers.
- Maintain a tidy work environment by sweeping, disposing of waste, and organizing materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the Purchasing Manager when reordering is necessary.
- Restock cleaning supplies as required.
- Utilize company vehicles for local pickups.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must be proactive, able to follow directions, and work collaboratively with others. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential. Below are the key qualifications:
Essential Attributes:
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous.
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Capable of interacting professionally and courteously with diverse individuals.
- Possess a clean driver's license.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with sheet metal is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation:
