Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Senior Care Professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at our Healthcare Center. The ideal candidate will possess a valid nursing license, be available for emergencies, and have a doctor's statement designating them free from communicable disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct resident care activities, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation of nursing care.
  2. Respond to resident calls and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
  3. Dispense medications per physicians' orders and ensure narcotic counts are accurate at the beginning and end of shift (where applicable).
  4. Complete 24-hour census reports, order medications, and process new health care provider's orders.
  5. Follow OSHA compliance and safety procedures, and provide daily supervision to assigned staff.
  6. Participate in the admission of new residents, assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and promote an independent lifestyle of residents.
  7. Assess resident conditions and notify attending physicians and responsible parties as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Current nursing license valid in the state worked
  • Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
  • Doctor's statement designating free from communicable disease
