Job Title: Field Superintendent

Job Summary:

Z Constructors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Superintendent to oversee the construction of our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and local codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure that the work meets the required standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team, including the project manager, architect, engineer, consultant, and owner, to ensure that all parties are informed of project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the site is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, inspection reports, and quality control documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in site supervision and quality control.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Working Conditions:

The Field Superintendent will be required to work on-site at various construction projects, with frequent travel to different locations. The position will involve working in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions and potential hazards.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in site supervision and quality control. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Demands:

The Field Superintendent will be required to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, and lifting, with occasional exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.

Work Environment:

The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to construction equipment, materials, and potential hazards.
