About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our project teams and ensure the successful execution of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, managing personnel, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Project:

  • Collaborate with our Estimating Department to develop trade award schedules during pre-construction.
  • Review all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, to fully understand project requirements.

During Project:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities and personnel, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Implement and maintain project-specific safety and quality plans.
  • Coordinate and lead both internal and external meetings, establishing clear communication channels with all subcontractors and team members.
  • Monitor project progress, including scheduling, and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements and safety protocols.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project, including subcontractor claims and scope changes.

Post-Project:

  • Ensure punch list items are completed.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience managing interior/exterior construction projects ranging from $1-$15 million.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects in occupied spaces.
  • Certifications in OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health, and 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User, are a plus but not required.
