Your Responsibilities:
As a Risk Management Advisor at Frost Insurance Agency, your primary duty will be to generate new business opportunities and maintain client relationships by advising on strategies to mitigate insurance-related risks. This role emphasizes the importance of building trust and fostering connections with a foundation of integrity and excellence.
Key Duties Include:
- Delivering consulting and safety training to assist assigned clients in achieving their risk management goals. Collaborating with clients to identify critical objectives that enhance safety, compliance, and operational continuity (Risk Assessment).
- Coordinating or providing technical training to clients regarding OSHA, DOT, WC, TDI, and other necessary compliance areas.
- Acting as a resource for FIA's sales team and management regarding safety, risk management, and regulatory adherence.
- Participating in the development and presentation of risk management topics during FIA seminars, with a preference for Continuing Education Credit.
- Consistently taking action with Integrity, care, and Excellence to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with two years of experience in safety or accident investigation, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Intermediate understanding of safety practices, accident investigation, and risk management principles.
- Familiarity with key safety and health regulations, management systems, and reporting obligations.
- Current knowledge of applicable occupational safety and health best practices, including OSHA standards and DOT, WC, and TDI compliance.
- Experience with risk management software applications.
- Possession of a Qualification Review Letter from TDI or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), OSHA Authorized Trainer, or Certified Loss Control Specialist (CLCS) are preferred.
- Understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and construction processes is advantageous.
