We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at UCLA Health. As a vital member of our health organization, you will contribute to the delivery of Magnet designated nursing excellence in our Radiation Oncology and Brachytherapy department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional nursing care for patients undergoing radiation therapy and brachytherapy
- Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks to team members
- Assist with the coordination of patient care and delivery in the Radiation Oncology Department
- Provide directions and assistance to clinic staff while promoting quality and cost-effective patient care
- Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement patient care plans, and educate patients and families
- Current California RN license
- BSN or MSN degree
- ACLS & BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Two years of recent med/surg or Oncology experience
- ICU/ER/PACU or OR experience preferred
- Two years of radiation oncology nursing experience preferred
- OCN certification preferred
