Job Summary:

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families. You will work closely with our nephrologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and studies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nephrology research and best practices
Requirements:
  • Current, valid State of Wyoming Medical License (NP or PA-C)
  • Active DEA license
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C)
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Full and current certification as a nurse practitioner from American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or a physician assistant who is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
