Key Responsibilities- Obtain detailed patient histories and conduct physical examinations to determine possible diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Order and perform laboratory, radiological, and special examinations or tests as needed, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Provide routine follow-up care, including adjusting medications and completing accurate patient records.
- Perform minor outpatient surgical procedures and provide guidance to pharmacy, lab staff, x-ray staff, nursing staff, and precept Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant students on accepted procedures.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.
- Valid State of Wyoming authorization as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.
- Prescriptive authority in the State of Wyoming.
- National certification in degree specialty.
- DEA licensure or eligible to attain DEA licensure.
- CPR certified/BLS certification.
- Experience or interest in FQHCs or underserved care.
- Experience or interest in Quality Improvement.
- Experience or interest in healthcare education.
- Experience or interest in clinical leadership.
