Nurse Practitioner Acute Care-Hem/Onc Clinical Services

Job Summary:

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Hem/Onc Clinical Services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with the anticoagulation team to manage patients receiving anticoagulation therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Provide education and training to new and existing staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and informatics to optimize healthcare outcomes.
  • Contribute to the division and hospital strategic plans, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science degree or equivalent provision.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio.
  • Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA.
